Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in the reality show Folk Star Bihar (“Program”) organized and managed by the Producer (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing our website, submitting an audition entry, or participating in any part of the Program, you (“Participant”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not participate in the Program.

Eligibility

• Participants must be Indian citizens or residents with valid identification.
• Minimum age to participate is 14 years. Participants under 18 must provide signed consent from a parent or legal guardian.
• Each Participant must truthfully provide their personal, contact, and audition details. False or misleading information may result in disqualification.

Registration and Participation

• Participants must submit accurate personal details and audition material through the official registration platform or form.
• All entries must comply with the guidelines provided by the Producer.
• Submission of an entry does not guarantee selection or participation in the Program.
• Shortlisting and selection decisions are final and made solely at the discretion of the Producer or appointed panel/jury.

Conduct & Disqualification

• Participants must behave respectfully and professionally at all times.
• Any misconduct, abusive behavior, use of profanity, cheating, or violation of instructions may lead to immediate disqualification.
• Participants agree to abide by the rules, processes, and decisions of the Producer and judges at every stage of the Program.

Rights Granted

By participating in the Program, you irrevocably grant the Producer the following rights:

• To record, use, publish, edit, and broadcast your performance, voice, likeness, image, name, and biography in whole or in part across any media including television, digital, OTT, YouTube, and social media—globally and in perpetuity.
• To use your content for promotional, archival, commercial, and editorial purposes without further approval or compensation.
• Participants waive all rights to inspect or approve the final usage of their content.

This is governed under a separate Consent & Release Agreement, which you are required to accept during registration.

Intellectual Property

• All content produced as part of the Program, including recordings, edits, titles, logos, visuals, and designs, are the exclusive intellectual property of the Producer.
• Participants may not use the brand name Folk Star Bihar, logo, or any show material for commercial use without prior written permission.

Privacy and Data Use

• Personal data collected from Participants will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• By registering, you consent to the collection and use of your data as outlined, including for verification, communication, and promotional purposes.

Limitation of Liability

• The Producer shall not be liable for any loss, damage, delay, or failure resulting from force majeure events including but not limited to natural disasters, network failures, or governmental actions.
• The Producer makes no warranties regarding the Participant’s selection or career outcomes as a result of participation.
• Participants assume all risks related to travel, health, or expenses incurred while participating, unless otherwise specified.

Program Modifications or Cancellation

The Producer reserves the right to:

• Amend the structure, timeline, or rules of the Program at any stage without prior notice.
• Disqualify any entry or participant found violating the terms or misrepresenting any information.
• Cancel or postpone the Program due to unforeseen circumstances.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

• These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
• Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Program shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.

Acceptance

• By submitting your audition or participating in any part of Folk Star Bihar, you confirm that:
  You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
• You are of legal age or have obtained required parental/guardian consent.
• You accept that all decisions made by the Producer are final and binding.
